Ten Foot Henry is a bright new space in Calgary, located around the corner from Hotel Arts on 1st Street SW. The menu lists classic items like Yellow Fin Crudo and surprising choices like Handmade Bread Dumplings with Borscht, Kvat and Dill.
My first visit to Ten Foot Henry was courtesy of an invite to review their lunch offerings–I’ve been back three times since for late night snacks with friends and I recommend the restaurant for multiple occasions.
If you are going for lunch,
I suggest you allow the chef to choose and cook for your table. At the incredible price of $19, you will get five freshly prepared dishes and that is a steal of a deal. Here is what my lunch for two people consisted of (one of us was vegetarian so we asked them to modify with that in mind):

The second salad was equally delicious but more on the mellow side. The fresh dill added a little zing.

If you’ve heard anything about Ten Foot Henry, you’ve probably heard mention of this amazing Coconut Cake. Soon to be famous city-wide!
So, if you didn’t know about Ten Foot Henry, now you know…
Make a reservation for lunch or stop in for a shared plate dinner with friends and enjoy the fresh food and atmosphere of this lovely new spot in Calgary!
This is not a sponsored post. Ten Foot Henry did provide my initial lunch but I’ve been back of my own accord several times since and all opinions and descriptions are my own.
I’m definitely going to try Ten Foot Henry ! what a great a idea for the lunch concept, to let the chef cook for you and especially for that amazing price ! looking forward to head there soon
